When we were asked as children what we wanted to be when we grew up, the answers were astronaut, president, princess, or ballerina. We felt no boundaries but dared to dream big, and our belief in the realization of our dreams was firm.

As we grew up, especially from adolescence to adulthood, we absorbed many preconceptions and expectations of what we were supposed to do or what we imagined was expected of us. And then we got caught up in the whirlwind of daily life, where "there is no time" to stop and think.

Time is the only wealth in the world that is distributed equally to all of us. So how do you plan to use your time here? Are you living in a way that brings you joy? Are you doing work that ignites your passion?

Ask Yourself an Important Question

Imagine a situation where there are no restrictions, and absolutely everything is possible. You could be and do whatever you wish. What would you want more of in your life and what would you remove? What kind of work would you be doing, how would you do it, and what would your work environment look like?

Take a moment for yourself, with paper and pen and an open mind. Ask yourself: what do I want? Let the answers flow freely onto the paper and repeat the question after a while. Write down whatever comes to mind.

If the question feels too big at first, think about your values; what things are most important to you and what would you not give up? Things can be small or big, tangible or abstract. Your own values give rise to goals and sources of motivation.

You can equally well think about what you don't want. This perspective also leads you towards the answer to the question: what do I want?

Life Change Starts with a Dream

You will  surely find things that you can achieve now. And then there are dreams that take a little longer to reach. The law of attraction says that you get what you ask for. And what you focus on becomes reality. For this reason, it is important to dream, boldly and grandly.

If you always do things the same way, they will stay the same. If you want change in your life, you must change your actions.

Start with the courage to dream!
