About the Role:

  • We are recruiting chefs for various positions, such as breakfast, buffet, and à la carte chefs.
  • Positions are available in picturesque locations such as Kilpisjärvi, Luosto, Rovaniemi, Pallas, Ylläs, Levi, Muonio, Hetta and Saariselkä.
  • Employment period varies depending on the location and workplace, although it is mostly from November 2024 until March 2025.
  • We offer full-time contracts (112,5/3 weeks), part-time contracts (for example 60h or 90h/ 3weeks) as well as gig work.

  • Salary: based on the collective agreement of hotel- and restaurant industry or according to the agreement.In the range between 14 - 16€ / hour (a basic monthly salary would be around 1680 - 2544€ depending on your experience and the type of the contract)
  • Extra supplements: +1,33€/h for evening shifts, +2,25€ for night shifts, +100% for Sundays and public holidays.
  • Many workplaces come with affordable accommodation: housing options available for up to around 500€ per month. (depending on the locality and the type of the accommodation).

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, experience in Nordic countries is a plus.
  • Must be eligible to work in Finland.
  • Communicative level of English or Finnish.
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety protocols, allergies, cooking techniques, knife skills, and time management.
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude even in stressful situations.
  • Category B driving license is a plus.
  • Finnish hygiene and alcohol passport is a big plus.
