We are looking for a Facility and Energy Expert to join the Wärtsilä facilities team, to work for functional, energy efficient, and carbon-neutral future of the brand-new Sustainable Technology Hub. The recruitment for this position is carried out by Barona, but the chosen candidate will be directly employed by Wärtsilä in a permanent position.
As a Facility and Energy Expert, you will work with energy solutions, facility maintenance, and projects at the Wärtsilä’s Sustainable Technology Hub (STH). In this role, you will ensure that the staff at STH have functional and efficient facilities both now and in the future, collaborating closely with various stakeholders. We will provide you comprehensive induction program at the start of your employment, but prior understanding of industrial facility management and energy solution development is expected. The role can be performed using a hybrid work model.

We expect you to have a relevant academic degree (e.g. B.Sc. or M.Sc.) and several years of experience in facility management and development. You understand facility energy solutions and can apply them in an environmentally friendly and cost-effective manner. You are productive, collaborative, and have excellent communication skills. You achieve results through goal-oriented and efficient actions. You can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and collaborate with different stakeholders. Additionally, fluent proficiency in both Finnish and English is required.
